Executor´s House

The building of a Renaissance bourgeois house (existed as a stone house probably in 1607) is the only one preserved building of this type in Trenčín. It represents a characteristic bourgeois house with a circle courtyard gallery in which there would be placed both living-rooms and production part with a black kitchen.

The Executor´s House" is historically being combined with the justice execution and a prison. How much is this combination rightful is not quite distinct, though. By some data, the urban catchpoll would live in this house in the 19th century and also the jail used to be in here for a certain time.

Some documents state that this house surely had been the municipal hangman´s house in the 16th and 17th century.
